By a whisker: Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid was just beaten to the finish line by south Korea’s Cho Sun-young in the women’s elite keirin final.

PETALING JAYA: Woman keirin rider Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid stole the show with a silver but former world keirin champion Azizulhasni Awang just missed out on the podium in his comeback race after a year’s hiatus at the Track Asia Cup in Suphanburi, Thailand.

The 19-year-old Alyssa was just beaten to the finish line by South Korea’s Cho Sun-young in the women’s elite keirin final as teammate Yong Ann Tung got the bronze for Malaysia as well.
