PETALING JAYA: Pre-race favourite Max Walscheid of the NTT Pro Cycling Team finally lived up to his billing after bagging Stage Three of the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

The 26-year-old German rider, who won the 2020 LTdL curtain-raiser - the Kota Kinabalu International Criterium Race in Sabah last Thursday - crossed the finish line first in a bunch sprint involving a distance of 162.5 km from Temerloh to Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
