No foot off the pedal as Azizul eyes Asian podium


PETALING JAYA: Former track world champion Azizulhasni Awang (pic) will commit to the Asian Championships in Tagaytay, the Philippines, in March with an eye on another podium finish for Malaysia.

Technical director John Beasley confirmed that Azizul, who just turned 38 on Jan 5, will ride for the national team in the Asian meet as he continues to make good progress in his comeback campaign after one year out of the saddle.
