Azizulhasni to skip World Cup to prepare for world meet

Getting ready: Azizulhasni Awang aims to do well at the Track World Championships in Poland next month as it is an Olympic qualifying event.

PETALING JAYA: Cyclist Azizulhasni Awang has decided to skip the final leg of the Track World Cup in Hong Kong this weekend to concentrate on another important championship in Poland next month.

The decision may cause his position in the world rankings to drop but Azizul felt it will give him more time to prepare for the Track World Championships mission in Pruszkow, Poland at the end of February.
