The Malaysian squad won the IIHF Under-20 Challenge Cup of Asia for the second consecutive year.

MALAYSIA clinched the 2019 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Ice Hockey Under-20 Challenge Cup of Asia (CCOA) after defeating Kyrgyzstan 4-2 in an electrifying decider at the Malaysia National Ice Hockey Stadium in Petaling Jaya recently.

But the local lads caused a scare during the final match when they lost their 2-1 lead just two minutes into the final period before managing to score two more goals in the last 10 minutes through Bryan Lim Chee Ming and Nurul Nizam Deen Versluis.
