Boxer Farkhan dedicates hard-earned WBC Asia title to late mother

PETALING JAYA: National boxer Mohd Farkhan Haron overcame adversity to win the World Boxing Council (WBC) Asia Bridgerweight title and dedicated the win to his late mother.

Despite dealing with grief and loss, Farkhan showed indomitable fighting spirit to defeat Iran’s Yousof Mohammadiomanvandi to become the newly-crowned champion at the Johor International Boxing Championship at Larkin Arena last Sunday.
