PETALING JAYA: National bowler Syazirol Shamsuddin rolled down his first national title even with a bleeding thumb to join the big boys club.

The bowler fondly known as ‘Zero’ gave a great fight like a superhero to upstage teammate Timmy Tan 237-225 in a sudden-death playoff of the stepladder finals in the National Championships at the Sunway Mega Lanes here on Thursday.
