Junior bowler Lavinia pins down the cause that cost her podium spot


PETALING JAYA: It was so close yet so far for junior bowler Lavinia Kho Jia Jie in the Asian Junior Championships.

The 18-year-old Lavinia, who was Malaysia’s best performer, missed her spot in the stepladder finals after finishing fourth with a score of 3,285 pins, just three pins behind the third qualifier, Kiri Watanabe of Japan at the Singapore Bowling Rifle Range yesterday.
