Aqila aims big at Brunswick despite long layoff


PETALING JAYA: Junior bowler Nur Aqila Aini Mohd Faiz Ahmed (pic) is looking forward to start the season as she competes in the Brunswick Youth Challenge, which will be held at the Sunway Megalanes in May.The 18-year-old Aqila has been itching to compete in the local tournament as it is the junior squad’s first competition after the Storm Junior All-Stars Bowling Championships last December.

Despite being out of competitive action for almost five months, Aqila has set her sights on advancing to the final of the championship.
