PETALING JAYA: Shalin Zulkifli’s hopes of making a grand start to her professional bowling career has been dashed.

The 42-year-old bowed out early in the matchplay stage of the USBC Queens after losing both her matches, contested over best of three-game series, at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nevada on Sunday.
