PETALING JAYA: Shalin Zulkifli came up short in her bid to win the World Bowling Tour (WBT) finals in the United States.

The 39-year-old went down 231-244 to defending champion Danielle McEwan of the US in the first stepladder match to settle for third place at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nevada, on Sunday.
