Mixed doubles pair Zi Heng-Noraqilah claim Vietnam International Series crown

PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles pair Loh Zi Heng-Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan continued their fine form by capturing the Vietnam International Series title in Bac Giang on Sunday (Nov 2).

The World Junior Championships bronze medallists, who were seeded second, were made to work hard before overcoming Thailand’s Surasit Ariyabaraneekul-Atitaya Povanon.

The duo triumphed 21-13, 14-21, 21-16 in a tense final.

It was the pair’s second title of the year after winning the Malaysian Junior International Challenge in Perlis last July.
