Independent coach Kok Siang gets engaged

PETALING JAYA: Independent coach Teo Kok Siang announced his engagement to former mixed doubles shuttler Cheah Yee See.

The 34-year-old Kok Siang, who guides world No. 3 men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, shared the happy news via social media on Tuesday (Aug 19).

"She said yes. Forever starts now. One step closer to forever with you. Engaged to my best friend, my love, my everything," he wrote.

Yee See, 29, retired from the sport early last year before taking up a coaching role in former mixed doubles partner Chan Peng Soon's academy.
