Injury puts paid to Pearly-Thinaah’s hopes of progressing

PETALING JAYA: Pearly Tan was in tears as she was wheeled out of the Maruzen Intec Arena in Osaka.

Pearly and M. Thinaah were forced to concede a walkover to Baek Ha-na-Lee Yu-lim of South Korea after the former suffered a knee injury during the women’s doubles second round of the Japan Open yesterday.
