An Asiad dream on hold – but time is on Se-young’s side

Well guided: South Korea’s An Se-young with her Malaysian coach Wong Tat Meng.

IT has been a hectic year so far for shuttlers and that’s why young hotshot An Se-young is relieved that the Asian Games in Hangzhou has been postponed to next year.

The 20-year-old has set her sights on becoming the second South Korean player to win the women’s singles Asiad gold, a feat that was last achieved by the great Bang Soo-hyun in 1994 Hiroshima.
