Flandi: Sze Fei-Izzuddin’s one title in two finals still great

PETALING JAYA: Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani (pic, above) blew a good chance to win two titles in Europe after losing the Swiss Open final.

German Open winners Sze Fei-Izzuddin gave a creditable fight but it was not good enough to unsettle an equally determined Fajar Alfian-Rian Ardianto of Indonesia in the men’s doubles final in Basel yesterday. The Malaysians went down 18-21, 19-21 in a fast-paced 40-minute match.
