Pearly-Thinaah go down fighting to Indonesian pair

Well fought: Pearly Tan (front) and M. Thinaah battled for one hour and 21 minutes but it was not good enough to beat homesters Febriana Dwipuji-Amalia Cahaya.

PETALING JAYA: Another fighting display. Another defeat.

It was a similar episode of being so close yet so far for M. Thinaah-Pearly Tan as they fought gallantly before losing 14-21, 22-20, 17-21 to homesters Febriana Dwipuji-Amalia Cahaya in the second round of the women’s doubles at the Indonesia Open in Bali yesterday.
