PETALING JAYA: There was little that Rio Olympics silver medallists Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying could salvage from what was their Olympics swansong.

The world No. 7 went down 13-21, 19-21 in just 37 minutes to second seeds Wang Yilyu-Huang Dongping of China to end their mixed doubles Group D campaign without a single win.
