PETALING JAYA: Dropped senior shuttlers are pleading to the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) to fund their trip to Europe to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the Olympic Games in Japan.

Yesterday, BAM served a shocker by discarding their No. 1 mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie, Lai Pei Jing (mixed doubles), Vivian Hoo (women’s doubles) and Soniia Cheah (women’s singles) from the national team.
