PETALING JAYA: While the doubles may not be Lee Zii Jia’s forte, the men’s singles ace showed he can be just as devastating in the event.

Zii Jia teamed up with Lai Pei Jing in the mixed doubles to sweep aside Yap Roy King-Peck Yen Wei 15-10,15-9 to steer his team, Terminators, to a comfortable 8-3 victory over Transformers in the BAM Mixed Team Championships at the Academy Badminton Malaysia yesterday.

The team captain contributed two points as he was also victorious in the singles when he thumped Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin 15-4,15-6.
