Jin Wei, Ee Wei-Pearly storm into finals at World Junior Championships


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia are on the brink of a double glory at the World Junior Championships after shuttlers Goh Jin Wei and Toh Ee Wei-Pearly Tan Koong Le stormed into the girls' singles and doubles finals respectively in Markham, Canada.

Youth Olympics gold medallist Jin Wei outclassed top seed Wang Zhiyi of China 21-9, 21-13 in 38 minutes to put her just one win away from reclaiming the title she last captured in Peru three years ago.
