Sanjay’s going the distance with his easy-going approach

PETALING JAYA: Long-distance runner M. Sanjay (pic), whose national record-breaking run in the 10km road race last Sunday is still pending ratification by World Athletics (WA) and the Malaysia Athletics (MA), claims he never intended to set a new mark.

The 23-year-old Sanjay said he wasn’t thinking about titles or national history when he was standing at the starting line.
