PETALING JAYA: Sprint coach Amir Izwan Tan Abdullah has been given a new challenge - to turn middle distance runners into stars.

And Amir is up to it, after all, he has proven himself by guiding men’s 100m sensation Mohd Azeem Fahmi into stardom.
