Uphill task for Vasanthan to defend KLSCM title but he’ll be in peak condition

PETALING JAYA: Poo Vasanthan has a mountain to climb in defending the men’s title in the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) but he has chosen to be as cool as a cucumber.

It will be a heated contest in the category with three national runners joining Vasanthan – five-time champion Muhaizar Mohd, national marathon record holder Leo Tan Huong Leong and national half marathon record holder Prabudass Krishnan – at the Dataran Merdeka from Sept 30-Oct 1.
