Karim ready to step aside as association push for governance reforms

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Athletics (MA) president Datuk Karim Ibrahim has announced he will step aside once key constitutional amendments are finalised, in a move aimed at restoring confidence in the national governing body following recent controversies.

Karim said the decision was reached collectively by the council after a turbulent two-week period that attracted widespread media attention and raised concerns among stakeholders, including sponsors.
