Alang leads Malaysian archers' golden charge in Asia Cup

KUALA LUMPUR: Archer Alang Ariff Aqil Ghazali led Malaysia's charge at the Asia Cup in Bangkok, securing gold in the compound mixed team event and adding a bronze in the men's compound individual event.

Alang teamed up with Fatin Nurfateh Mat Salleh to defeat Kazakhstan's Viktoriya Lyan-Andrey Tyuntyun 152-149 in the mixed team final on Saturday (Feb 22).
