Archer Zarif hopes to pull off last-minute miracle to qualify for Olympics

On a mission: Mohd Zarif Syahiir Zolkepeli (left) will compete in the Archery World Cup’s first three stages.

PETALING JAYA: Chances are slim but not zero for national recurve archer Mohd Zarif Syahiir Zolkepeli to try and qualify for the Paris Olympics.

Opportunities to earn a ticket to Paris are dwindling, but the 25-year-old Zarif remains hopeful that he, along with teammates Mohd Syafiq Mohd Arifin, Mohd Haiqal Danish Syamsul Affandi, and Mohd Firdaus Rusmadi, can still pull off a last-minute miracle.
