FROM Nov 30 to Dec 4, the United Nations will host the First Review Conference on the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). This is the inaugural review conference of the treaty that came into force in January 2021.

One of the foremost advocates for this treaty was Malaysia’s own Datuk Dr Ronald Stephen McCoy, who died on Tuesday at 96.
