Follow Sarawak’s lead on free school transport, Putrajaya told

I URGE the government to provide free transportation for school students nationwide, taking inspiration from the progressive initiative implemented by the Sarawak state government, which began offering free transportation to students across the state starting yesterday.

In this regard, I propose that the government utilise existing school buses as an immediate and practical solution. Under this proposal, the full transportation cost for each student would be fully absorbed by the government, thereby easing the financial burden on parents.
