WITH Visit Malaysia 2026 ahead, Tourism Malaysia is naturally going all out to attract more visitors to see our beautiful and colourful country. But there’s one aspect the authorities seem to be overlooking: The bunga raya, or hibiscus, is recognised as our national flower but they seem to be rather hidden away.

They should be seen in every nook and corner to popularise their beauty and as an example of the flora this country boasts.
