IN reference to the letter “Going cashless is not convenient for everyone” by Disappointed Senior Citizen (The Star, Nov 25), Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) would like to clarify the following.
KTMB has been operating ticketing with cash payments for more than 30 years. Over time, cash-based ticketing caused long queues at peak periods (e.g. festive seasons or school holidays).
