PUBLIC discussions have drawn parallels between the tragic killing of the 16-year-old female student at a school in Petaling Jaya recently and the Netflix drama series Adolescence to highlight gender-based violence among teenagers.

While we will never know what went through the mind of the 14-year-old perpetrator, the link between red-pill radicalising online content, teenage violence and harm is increasingly being discussed in the public domain.
