MALAYSIA is in the midst of another haze crisis, with the Air Pollution Index (API) having recently exceeded 150 in areas of Selangor and Negri Sembilan due to fires in Indonesia.
Cerah (Civil society engagement, education, and advocacy in relation to haze) would like to highlight the urgent need for environmental justice, accountability, and systemic action to address this recurring environmental and public health emergency.
