Vocational training, a key issue for the future in the face of global challenges

FROM Sept 10 to 15, the city of Lyon, France, will host the 47th WorldSkills Competition, almost 30 years after hosting the 33rd in 1995.

Every two years, the WorldSkills Competition allows the best young people from around the world to compete. Students, apprentices or young professionals, have all been designated national champions in their respective skills. Under the watch of a jury of experts, they are called upon to demonstrate cutting-edge know-how on complex subjects and their ability to surpass themselves individually and collectively. This competition is based on the desire to promote professions and highlight their essential contribution to economic success. We wish the Malaysian delegation that will compete in the events the best and hope that they will win many medals!
