TRAFFIC congestion has become an increasingly familiar part of daily life in many Malaysian cities. During peak hours, festive seasons and periods of high travel demand, motorists can spend considerable time navigating slow-moving traffic.
In May, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) reported that between 5.5 million and six million vehicles use the country’s highway network daily, indicating the growing pressure on the road network.
