Sewage plant operating smoothly

WE refer to the “Text Us” comments titled “Problem at sewage plant” (The Star, Dec 15) highlighting concerns about a pump tripping issue dating back 20 years, and the non-functional early warning system at Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Sdn Bhd’s sewage treatment plant (STP).

We would like to reassure that STPs in the Ara Damansara area are currently operating smoothly. The area falls within the catchment zone of the Regional Sewage Treatment Plant PJA245 and encompasses three network pump station (NPS) units – PJA246, PJA354, and PJA295.
