THE shooting of 20 monkeys, some in cages, by the Wildlife Protection and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) at Batu Caves has raised the ire of residents in the apartment complex nearby. The residents have lodged a police report against Perhilitan.
Consumers’ Association of Penang (CAP) is also extremely disappointed over the incident, which took place last month.
