A caring school programme

I READ an article on social media about a programme called “Prihatin Jom KeSekolah” (Back to School Care), which I would like to share with all.

This programme was initiated by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of SK Seri Permai in George Town to provide secondhand school uniforms to impoverished families. Imagine the amount that would need to be spent on new uniforms by a family that has four schoolgoing children – especially in the light of current economic conditions!
