THE Health Ministry’s statement declaring its concern over the sale of ecigarettes and vaping products resembling toys in front of a school demonstrates the helplessness of our health authorities in protecting these vulnerable individuals.

To this day, despite being an industry worth an estimated RM2.3bil and this country being the largest market in South-East Asia, the marketing and selling of vape and its products remain unregulated in Malaysia.
