Ensure proper SOP for citizenship application

WE refer to the recent statement by the Home Minister in Parliament that stateless persons will be given a one-year window to apply for citizenship.

We welcome this move by the Home Ministry as an indication that the government is finally serious about resolving this long-standing problem, which has caused untold suffering to those wrongfully denied citizenship.
