Guidelines for mental health at work

I COMPLIMENT The Star for highlighting the issue of poor mental health among executives and employees at the workplace and how it can seriously affect the productivity and profitability of a company.

According to Relate Mental Health Malaysia, the estimated cost to businesses of mental health disorders among employees in 2018 was a staggering RM14.46bil. This was equivalent to about 1% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) that year, and Relate says the actual cost may be more.
