MUGEN Rao (pic) emerged as winner of Season Three of a hugely popular reality show in India called Bigg Boss. He is the first ever Malaysian to have entered and won, despite being pitted against many well-known Indian celebrities (the show depends on public votes, so popularity is a factor).
I saw the euphoria and elation among young people here when Mugen won. He received a hero’s welcome home and has become a sensation among Indian youth in Malaysia.
