Game of making space in packed trains

THE LRT/MRT networks have experienced a major increase in passenger traffic due to the RM100 monthly pass.

Six years ago when I became a regular user of the LRT from the Kelana Jaya LRT station to KLCC, I could almost always get a seat because Kelana Jaya station was at the end of the line. After the Kelana Jaya Line was extended in 2016, I would be very lucky to get a seat or be offered one by kind young passengers who took pity on a grey-haired “uncle”.
