Improve city’s drainage

THE flash floods which occurred in the city last Thursday following a heavy downpour caused havoc resulting in 15 vehicles submerged in flood waters and hundreds of motorists trapped in their vehicles. Such flash floods have become a common occurrence each time there is a heavy downpour.

Although there were no casualties but commuters and motorists suffered serious inconveniences, damage to their vehicles and financial losses.
