GST refunds not being paid on time as promised

I REFER to the editorial “Over time, we will get used to the GST” (Sunday Star, July 12).

I would like to further voice my concerns and plight to the Prime Minister and the authorities about what the Government is doing with regards to the late refunds of GST claims by the Customs Department. I believe this letter does speak for other businesses who are facing similar problems but it has not been publicised often enough for the authorities to seriously take note of the inefficiency of the Customs Department.
