SCHOOLS have been informed through a circular that the Bayaran Insentif Subjek Pendidikan (BISP), which is the allowance given to teachers who teach English as a language as well as science and mathematics in English since 2003, amounting to almost RM500, will be withdrawn next year.
This payment had been intended for teachers to utilise on their own initiative to improve their proficiency in English.
