I REFER to Bunn Nagara’s article, “Iraq morass now packed with deadly burning bushes” (The Star, Nov 29).
It was a pleasure reading the piece, save that Syria “seems to have the greatest self-interests in wanting to influence if not control Iraq. In return, they might want the US to drop accusations about nuclear proliferation and a few assassinations in Lebanon.”
