We must plan for care across the entire life cycle

WANITA MCA welcomes the call by Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri for Malaysia to look beyond childhood intervention and plan for the lifelong needs of neurodivergent individuals, particularly as their parents and caregivers grow older.

Support cannot end when neurodivergent individuals leave school or reach adulthood. Depending on their needs, support may continue in employment, healthcare, daily living, and long-term care.
