Don’t fix rigid hours for the public to donate blood

WHILE it is commendable that the Penang Hospital has built a big indicator on its premises to let the public know the status of the blood bank (red, yellow and green), I find it ironic that the hospital has failed to extend the blood donation hours. 

On Feb 8, a friend told me that she noticed that the blood bank level was red. So, we decided to gather a few other friends to donate blood.
