ON June 25-26, I represented the Prime Minister and led the Malaysian delegation to the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali, Rwanda.

The leader of a group calling themselves the Angels, Nur Qashrina, alongside group members Nur Aida Shazwin, Emir Danish and Adam Danial and about 100 others received their SPM results, which were announced on June 16.

OF THE many efforts that can be made to educate the youth on political participation, the best approach is to empower youth for "self-government".

THE GOAL of political participation education is to develop political interest, knowledge, and skills among the youth to participate fully, actively and effectively in democracy.

THE YOUTH should be exposed to politics and their participation should start at an early age.

During the debate on lowering the voting age from 21 to 18 - ‘Undi18’ - for which amendments to the Federal Constitution had been passed, a very important issue arose, namely political education. According to the proposer, political education is needed for youths who will vote for the first time when they turn 18, starting with GE15.

AHEAD of the 15th General Election, the establishment of "coalitions of political parties" is often discussed. The goal of each coalition is to win the elections.

IN the hustle and bustle of GE15’s political tent, let us delve into the wider tent, namely "living harmoniously together in a culture of peaceful co-existence" (Siddik Fadzil).
